Almost time to leave for the airport

So our trip begins in about an hour... still need to do some last minute packing and desperately need a shower before I board the plane!

Saturday March 19 

Fly from LAX 

Sunday, March 20

Arrive in Glasgow (via earliest arriving flight). 

Obtain a rental car.

Spend the night in Glasgow (recommend we find hotel with free parking)

Monday, March 21

Finish up with Glasgow

Visit countryside towns on the way to Edinburgh

Visit Edinburgh castle sometime during the day (budget 2 hours minimum, Operating Hours 9:30am-5pm, last ticket sold at 4:15pm). Recommend we purchase tickets online ahead of time.

Spend night in Edinburgh

Tuesday, March 22

Fly out from Edinburgh (9:30am or earlier flight) to London Heathrow (arriving approx 11am or earlier).  

Drive Rental car to Stone Henge (budget 2 hours minimum)  (operating hours 9:30-6pm).

Drive further north and spend the night around Oxford/Buford/Stratford (No pre-planning for hotel) 

Wednesday, March 23

Visit Oxford, Burford, Stratford-upon-avon, etc

Return rental car in Oxford

Take train from Oxford to London. Recommend we purchase tickets far ahead of time. 

Spend night in London.

Thursday-Saturday March 24-26

London activities (including one night for pub crawl)

Staying in London

Sunday, March 27

Fly from London Heathrow to LAX... taking latest flight arriving on Sunday.
