    11:57:39 AM Thomas Poon: ok

1:34:24 PM SLObearsi: we mostly used hostelworld.com
1:34:26 PM SLObearsi: to book hostels
1:34:29 PM SLObearsi: they do charge u a fee tho
1:34:50 PM SLObearsi: so if u see a hostel u like, try going to its own webpage and see if you can reserve it straight from them

    1:34:57 PM SLObearsi: bring it
1:35:01 PM SLObearsi: bring the ext. hd
1:35:10 PM SLObearsi: some places are more tech savvy than others with usb ports
1:35:18 PM SLObearsi: so it depends where u go

    1:37:52 PM SLObearsi: nah
1:37:59 PM SLObearsi: we just had the ones where u wear on ur back
1:38:02 PM Thomas Poon: is one iwth wheels practical
1:38:03 PM SLObearsi: cuz most of the time
1:38:07 PM SLObearsi: we didnt know where we were goig
1:38:10 PM SLObearsi: so we were just walking
1:38:13 PM SLObearsi: i dont think so
    1:38:18 PM SLObearsi: i mean
1:38:21 PM SLObearsi: the back is pretty easy
    1:38:23 PM SLObearsi: cuz
    1:38:24 PM SLObearsi: ok
1:38:28 PM SLObearsi: my bag was 30 lbs i think
    1:38:30 PM SLObearsi: or 35
1:38:36 PM SLObearsi: so its not that bad carryig around
1:38:42 PM SLObearsi: cuz some streets arent the best
1:38:50 PM Thomas Poon: would you of been happier with one with wheels
1:38:52 PM SLObearsi: so rolling on cobblestone can be a pain in the ass
    1:38:55 PM SLObearsi: umm
1:39:01 PM SLObearsi: for the first couple of days yes
1:39:05 PM SLObearsi: but i got used to it
1:39:09 PM SLObearsi: just pack light
1:39:16 PM SLObearsi: really, alot is not needed
1:39:24 PM Thomas Poon: how big was your backpack
    1:39:28 PM SLObearsi: um
    1:39:39 PM SLObearsi: ask anthony
1:39:42 PM SLObearsi: i borrowed his sisters
1:40:01 PM SLObearsi: all u need tho, truthfully, is like one pair of jeans
1:40:06 PM SLObearsi: 1/2 pairs of shorts
    1:40:11 PM SLObearsi: 4 tshirts
    1:40:15 PM SLObearsi: a hoody
1:40:18 PM SLObearsi: a dress shirt
1:40:28 PM SLObearsi: do laundry once
    1:40:30 PM SLObearsi: in between
1:40:35 PM SLObearsi: or 5 shirts
1:40:43 PM SLObearsi: i brought 2 pairs of jeans and it was a waste
1:40:45 PM Thomas Poon: were going in the winter
    1:40:49 PM SLObearsi: OOh
    1:40:50 PM SLObearsi: haha
    1:40:52 PM SLObearsi: well then
1:40:53 PM SLObearsi: cut the shorts
1:40:57 PM SLObearsi: add anothe rpair of pants
    1:40:58 PM SLObearsi: hah
1:41:16 PM SLObearsi: i wanna say the pack was 3000 cu inches
1:41:21 PM SLObearsi: but im not too sure
    1:41:33 PM SLObearsi: actually

    1:41:52 PM SLObearsi: holy
1:41:55 PM SLObearsi: yea man youll have enough
1:41:58 PM SLObearsi: prob fill up half of that
1:42:02 PM SLObearsi: daypack is key tho
    1:42:03 PM SLObearsi: good call
1:42:35 PM SLObearsi: what was smart, and i couldnt utilize this cuz my bag was so full, was stuffing your daypack into your big pack when u were moving around
1:42:41 PM SLObearsi: alot easier just having one pack on ur back
1:42:52 PM Thomas Poon: well mine attaches to the main pack
    1:42:57 PM SLObearsi: ah
1:42:59 PM SLObearsi: well either way
    1:43:03 PM SLObearsi: mine didnt
1:43:05 PM Thomas Poon: and whats key is it does it without making you tip over
    1:43:10 PM SLObearsi: HAHA
    1:43:11 PM SLObearsi: yeaa
1:43:16 PM SLObearsi: just dont overpack
1:43:19 PM SLObearsi: thats the big thing
1:43:26 PM SLObearsi: i threw maybe 25% percent of my clothes away
1:43:31 PM SLObearsi: wear it once or twice, toss it
1:43:36 PM SLObearsi: cuz i realized i did pack too much
1:44:24 PM Thomas Poon: did you check your bag in at most places
1:44:29 PM Thomas Poon: were there days that you didn't
    1:46:22 PM SLObearsi: umm
1:46:29 PM SLObearsi: we landed at frankfurt
1:46:34 PM SLObearsi: train didnt leave for another say 10 hours
1:46:41 PM SLObearsi: we checked it at the train station
1:46:43 PM SLObearsi: in the lockers
1:46:55 PM SLObearsi: u might be able to fit one or two packs per locker
1:47:00 PM SLObearsi: heads up to save some money
1:47:09 PM SLObearsi: some train stations are nicer than others
1:47:15 PM SLObearsi: i think in italy and paris, thers no lockers
1:47:30 PM SLObearsi: u have to go to a room to check ur luggage in
    1:47:32 PM Thomas Poon: oh
1:47:32 PM SLObearsi: its safe tho
1:47:40 PM SLObearsi: give or take its like 4 euros a day
1:47:42 PM SLObearsi: for the big one it hink
    1:47:48 PM SLObearsi: 3 or 4 euros
    1:47:53 PM Thomas Poon: cool
1:47:53 PM SLObearsi: but it is easier than carrying it around
    1:47:59 PM SLObearsi: saves u a backache
1:48:04 PM Thomas Poon: yeah for sure
    1:51:20 PM SLObearsi: yea man
1:51:28 PM SLObearsi: i actually bought one of those microfiber bath towels
1:51:32 PM SLObearsi: wasnt that bad
1:51:35 PM SLObearsi: dreid a lot quicker
1:51:38 PM Thomas Poon: did you get sheets
    1:51:44 PM SLObearsi: oh yea
1:51:45 PM Thomas Poon: for hostels
1:51:56 PM SLObearsi: i had my mom take like a queen sheet or a full sheet
1:52:02 PM SLObearsi: and sew up 2 sides of it
1:52:08 PM SLObearsi: well almost 3 sids
1:52:09 PM SLObearsi: so the bottom
1:52:12 PM SLObearsi: and the two sides
1:52:14 PM SLObearsi: but not all the way
1:52:18 PM SLObearsi: so i can just climb in
1:52:22 PM SLObearsi: or if lazy, lay on top
1:52:25 PM Thomas Poon: like a sleeping bag
1:52:25 PM SLObearsi: they provide sheet
    1:52:27 PM SLObearsi: yea

    1:52:44 PM Thomas Poon: oh
1:53:00 PM SLObearsi: well iw ouldnt go shirtless on the blankets they give u
1:53:16 PM SLObearsi: and the sheet is pretty lightweight and doesnt take too much room too
    1:54:45 PM Thomas Poon: oh
1:55:01 PM Thomas Poon: ... dam
1:55:14 PM Thomas Poon: its winter time though were going to have to use their blankets
